So Many Elves- Babies 63 and 64

Jeremy ends up being quite the heart breaker. His shiny blonde hair still has to be swept to the side every day or all hell breaks loose. Like most of my kids, he moves out without a girlfriend and heads to college, this time to become an elementary school teacher.

Harry and Hermione are up next. Hermione ages up to have long brown hair that she styles the same way every day. Her sarcasm is just getting worse (or better, whichever way you look at it) but that's one of the reasons I love her. Harry has brown hair, although slightly darker and has an obsession with bugs. Not good. Not good at all. I have a paranoia of anything even resembling bugs. Anything. Every time he brings in a new spider or caterpillar, I scream and book it to my bedroom, leaving Harry and Hermione laughing in my wake. But I put up with it, because I know it makes him happy.

Ginny and Cho... Oh, I literally cannot describe their cuteness. Ginny! I really am terrified that I'm going to explode every time I go near that girl! Her stunning yellow eyes and her shiny orange hair! Gah! I'm constantly snuggling her, since she loves to cuddle, and she is pretty attached to me. She seems to be most comfortable when in my arms, which I don't mind, not at all! I love holding that sweetie! Cho, although equally adorable, prefers to be as far away from me as possible, and considering she's only a toddler, is starting to scare me. What is it going to be like when she's a teenager? Will it be a repeat of something I've seen so many times before in my challenge? Both of them also have freaking ADORABLE elf ears, which makes me love them even more, somehow.
I lined the kids up outside and grinned broadly at them, eyeing them carefully. Why must all of my kids be so perfect?! I snapped the picture and gazed at it, smiling absently as I put it in my special picture box. After I did that, I hugged Jeremy good bye and watched him drive away to his life away from home.
With less than forty babies left, I laid down on my bed and thought about what was going to happen when I finished the challenge. I did realize that the time where I laid my 100th baby in their crib wouldn't come for a while, but I was getting closer and closer to that day with every baby that I had, and it was worrying me. I didn't know anything but my challenge anymore, and although I was sure Skye and I would probably get married after I was done, I still didn't know how I felt about it.
I laid on my bed for hours, waiting for nothing, really. I didn't feel like getting up, or moving at all, even though I had more than a ton of things to do that day. Suddenly, someone started banging so loudly on the front door that I could hear it from my room, which was fairly far away from it. I shot off my bed and sprinted to the door, flung it open, and was surprised to see Elrond the elf standing there, staring at me with no emotion in his red eyes.

"H-hello," I stuttered, trying to remember why he was here.

He must've read my mind, because he said, "I am here to be the first elf challenge father. Don't you remember? You said I could."

I clapped my hands excitedly at this memory. "Oh yes! Hello Elrond! Yes, you can just donate your contribution to the sperm bank--"

"Actually," he interrupted, holding up his hand. "That won't work. You see, elves don't... populate the same way that humans do."

"Erm... What do you mean?"

"Well, it's hard to explain. But when you have an elf challenge father, you'll need to do it the, um, normal way." That was the first time--even though I had only met him a few days earlier--that he had seemed unsure of what to say.

I raised my orange eyebrows, shocked. "Oh... Okay," I muttered, allowing him in. He walked straight to the bedroom, clearly expecting to do it now. "Well okay then Mr. Pushy," I said under my breath as I followed in his footsteps.

I got into the bed where Elrond sat, waiting for me. We stripped off our clothes and, well, you know what happens next. It was strange: it was the first time that I felt guilty about having someone's baby. I was with Skye now, and it felt like cheating, even though I knew that she'd tell me differently.
When we finished, I ushered him out the door and walked to the kitchen, beginning to prepare dinner for the kids.
When I didn't say a word as we sat at the table above our dinner, Hermione squeaked, "Mommy, are you okay?"
"Yeah, you're really quiet," Harry added.

"Quiet!" Ginny giggled from her high chair as Cho followed her lead, shouting, "Quiet!"

I chuckled. "Well, yes, I'm fine."

"No you're not, tell me what's wrong," said Hermione.

I sighed. "You're too young."

"Then call Aunt Skye."

"That would just make it worse."

Harry huffed, setting down his fork. "Either you call Skye or you don't get dinner!"

"Excuse me," I said, rather enjoying myself. "Are you threatening me, mister?"

He nodded firmly. "You bet I am. Hermione, grab her plate!" His sister hopped up from her chair, jacked my food and sprinted to the kitchen where I heard her chuck it into the trashcan.

"What the--"

"Mom, call Skye!" He thrust my cell phone into my hand, so I obeyed. I suppose it wouldn't hurt just to tell her my concerns, could it?
I dialed her number and walked to my bedroom, sitting on the bed as I listened to the ringing. A moment later, the voice of my girlfriend piped up on the other line, "Hey Parker!"

I smiled at the sound of her. I truly loved her British accent. "Hey."

"I can hear how sad you are. What's goin' on?"

I explained to her how I felt that I cheated, and she said calmly, "Geez, you're an idiot."

"Excuse me!" I exclaimed defensively. "That was mean, thank you!"

She laughed warmly. "Paisley, it's okay! Don't think that, please. You did not cheat on me. It's just your job."

"I'm sorry, but that doesn't make me feel any better, Everard. It really doesn't. I can't explain it, but I just... I feel bad."

She sighed. "I wish I didn't live so far away. I want to come over there and slap you."

"You know, I think I'm just gonna go to bed. Night," I said quickly and hung up the phone, letting it slip out of my hand and fall to the floor with a thud. I fell back on my mattress and closed my now-strikingly yellow eyes, hoping to fall asleep.
When no such miracle happened, I slid out of my bed and headed to the living room, sitting down on the plush cushions and turning on the TV. I watched my new favorite show, Supernatural, for a while before my eyes suddenly felt like lead. Closing them once more, I fell asleep while the TV screen flashed, changing from one scene to another.
When I awoke, Hermione sat in front of the TV, playing with her teddy bear who she named, yes, Teddy. "Hermione?" I asked wearily, pushing myself up so I sat up straight and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.

She jumped slightly and turned around, anger in her pretty eyes. "Well then! Thanks for that, Mother!" she said dramatically. "You almost made me pee my pants!"

I laughed loudly and stood up. "Sorry, hon. What are you doing?"

"Having a private conversation with Teddy, so off you go!" She pointed towards the archway leading out of the living room. "Leave us to ourselves!"

I giggled and obeyed her, leaving the room and hoping to find Harry somewhere in the house. "Oh Harry!" I called. "Harry Potter!"
I heard him groan in the kitchen. "You wish Harry Potter was as amazing as me. I AM THE TRUE WIZARD." I went in the direction of his voice and found him reading none other than Harry Potter. Sitting down across from him at the table, I stared at him intently. When he noticed this, he looked at me curiously.

"What?" he asked defensively. "Can't a guy read his wizarding books without being judged by his elf mother?"

I shrugged and grinned. "Most amazing sentence I've ever heard come out of your mouth."

He smirked up at me. "It's what I do."

I placed a hand on my stomach and was slightly surprised to feel a small bump in place of my usually--although I suppose not really--flat tummy. I smiled and got around to doing my usual chores. Man, I feel like I've said that way too many times in the past year.
A few days later, my water broke and I gave birth to babies sixty three and sixty four, Minerva and Sirius Parker!
